Etna 3000mt off-road Vehicles + trekking
Daily Departures on board of off-road vehicles with 4x4 from Piano Provenzana. Our first stop gives us an opportunity to view the ruins of “Hotel Le Betulle”, being the only recognizable structure after the eruption of 2002. driving along the Panoramic path towards the northern slopes of Mountain Etna. We drive along the ancient craters and the recent lava flows until we reach the Volcanological Observatory at an altitude of 2850mt. Once at destination, you will be leaded by our guides towards the panoramic point of Pizzi Dineri to admire the breathtaking view of the craters of the Etna that go towards the fascinating Ionic Sea, passing by the sumptuous “Valle del Bove” and the “Valle del Leone”. (Visibility varies depending on weather and volcanic conditions). Back on the off- road vehicles to reach the lateral craters of the 2002 Eruption. where you will do a short and fascinating Trekking, along the crater's edges of the Eruption that has destroyed the touristic area of Piano Provenzana. Boarding the vehicles and return to base.

Difficulty: T (Touristic) for Family and Kids
The trekking doesn’t require great physical preparation, however attention is required as it is on volcanic soil often inconsistent and unstable.
The excursion could be subjected to variations at the discretion of the Guides, or it could be interrupted in case of changes of the environmental, climatic or volcanic conditions, so as to undermine the safety of the entire group.
The total time of the trekking trail will depend on the general pace.
The excursion will be carried out according to the limits laid down by the ordinance in force.
The route is also suited for children over 2 years old.
The route consists of the ascent and the walking along the crater edges, this may cause dizziness to susceptible individuals.
